MEET TEAM ANCHOR

GELLY LIRIO

MANAGING DIRECTOR

CO-FOUNDER

Kumusta po, my name is Geraldine, though most know me as "Gelly". I was born in California, raised on the road as a military brat, and settled in Seattle after my father retired from serving in the US Army. I had a humble upbringing by two hard working parents that were able to find financial freedom through real estate, despite having lived in a third world country their whole lives prior to starting their life in America. I thank my parents for seeding my interest in real estate at a young age.

We created Anchor to build a firm based on what we feel this industry could use more of: a human approach to managing real estate and relentless care with warrior-like advocacy for clients and their assets. Buying/selling real estate and growing portfolios is a complex, sophisticated and often deeply personal endeavor; as one of Anchor’s founding partners and an entrepreneur, I am committed to treating your properties like the businesses that they are.

My operational strategy & execution has resulted in Award Winning success for clients and I love that along the way, the people that I get to work with and serve have also become some of the most meaningful and richest relationships in my life. Leverage my expert knowledge and candid advice as a licensed Real Estate Broker, certified in Real Estate Investment Analysis, and as a Master Certified Negotiation Expert. I’ve worked timelessly the last 12+ years building client success stories with their portfolios and transactions I’ve managed; I studied Business Management at WSU and refined my real estate acumen from my education in Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment at the MIT School of Architecture and Planning. I guess you could say I am a nerd when it comes to numbers and business, though one thing is for sure: I will be passionately obsessed with ensuring the most optimal situation for you and your family when it comes to real estate.

While balancing Anchor, I serve on the Board of Directors for a global non-profit organization called AREAA.org; I am working on rolling out a youth outreach program focused on planting seeds of financial literacy at a young age for Juniors and Seniors at high schools in underserved school districts. With this, we are also bridging young professionals together and creating a network of driven business-minded leaders who volunteer time to help raise resources to grant deserving families access to homeownership by giving them funds for a down payment on their first home.

I believe in always competing with yourself to discover new heights. A fun fact about me outside of my real estate life is that I used to be a dancer for the Seattle Seahawks; I performed on the sidelines of Superbowl XLVIII prior to competing professionally in Latin-ballroom international-style competitions. In 2015 I was crowned Miss Washington and earned our State a Top 5 spot at the national competition in Washington DC. For me, it meant having an impact within the community and triumphing despite not being the typical candidate who succeeds in these types of competitions. Anchor gives me the same opportunity; to advocate and be a representative for the underserved, to advocate for the community on national policies that bridge the wealth gap, and to empower everyone to visualize the possibilities for themselves in real estate.

“What I love about Anchor Agency is our whole team is driven by our shared passion to be of service to others and within the community; we are determined to provide others with value before anything else. We take a team approach to problem-solving, providing high quality and thoughtful service, and we pride ourselves in creating win-win solutions for all in the face of adversity; working with us, you will have the professional attention traditionally, improved by the personality and consistency of a dynamic team and thoughtful business model. And yes, superior results will follow!”

With Respect and Gratitude,

Gelly Lirio
