My name is Nancy Bounyavong and I am committed to creating a connection to help others. Where there is no human connection, there is no compassion. 

 

I am proud to call the Pacific Northwest my home. I was born and raised in the Kent/Renton area to two Laotian/Chinese immigrant parents; I am the oldest of four children and have responsibilities as a single-mother. I chose to stay in-state  and graduated at the University of Washington in Health Informatics and Health Management. 

 

Aside from work, I am heavily involved in my community as a Co-founder and manager of the Kinnaly Lao Traditional Music & Dance troupe. With Kinnaly, I am responsible for creating and delivering a curriculum for students to learn about their culture, as well as learning life skills through participation and engagements.
