About the Role


  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process. 

  • Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month. 

  • Monitor financial transactions and reports. Process accounts receivable and payable. Process checks. 

  • Understand ledgers. Handle monthly payroll using accounting software. 

  • Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations. 

  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data. Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc. 

  • Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities. Maintaining accurate financial records. 

  • Performing audits and resolving discrepancies. 

  • Computing taxes. 

  • Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting. 

  • Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts. 


  • Associate's degree in accounting or business administration. 

  • Excellent knowledge of general accounting principles. 

  • Knowledge of bookkeeping software. 

  • At least two years bookkeeping experience, preferably within a business-services environment. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 

  • Attention to detail and accuracy of work. Able to prepare, review and understand a financial statement.
